La Cuisine, at 225 Twickenham Road, specialises in French and Belgian dishes, fine wines and Belgian beers. It is the venture of award-winning chef Joffrey Bogemans (JoffTheChef), who has previously run successful restaurants in Brussels and his native Belgian province of Walloon Brabant. We are also a steak house, we offer nice pieces of beef with a very high standard quality we just changed our butcher for Millers Catering Butchers who offer us a constant quality meat! as we had issue before trying to find the fine product. However, we always recommend our customers to have their steak/sirloin/ribeye no more than medium as the quality is very superior, an overcooking remove always the right taste and texture of the product. We usually use thick cut to give a very nice piece of meat, but after some disappointment by customers who prefer to have there steak medium-well or welldone we offer also a fine cut. Hopefully we will make everybody happy with this decision! We also like to offer a very large portion of vegetables or salad, as we think it is important to give our customers at least the 5 a Day! We don't do a lot of preparation in advance, we like to cook the product freshly on demand, then if you would excuse us to sometimes to be a bit longer for the service than some other restaurants.
