A much needed addition of grown up and table cloth to Upper Street eateries. Not as fine as dining can be at some of Corbin & King’s other outfits, but it is a vast improvement on the endless gluten-free this and sugar-free that cookie-cutter cafes and bistros in Islington.
Food was excellent – wine list tooSemi-private table was too small for 8 – staff couldn’t serve without bumping into us and asking if we’d pass and take things for them. Not a big deal but i’d prefer to eat in the main room next time. And there will be a next time. Kitchen is sorted. FOH needs a bit of work.
