I was out with a friend and wanted to find something tasty for lunch near Islington – Canal No 5 hit the spot with interesting variations on the normal themes, a log fire, canalside venue and good atmosphere for talking. Thank you.
One of the smallest English breakfasts I’ve ever seen which went cold in a matter of minutes and they have the nerve to charge 11.50 for it, once again East London gentrification strikes again
Recommend by a friend. The location is beautiful, but the food and service raised the whole experience to amazing. Sitting outside with fabulous food and sunshine, it was like a little mini holiday in the city.
We stopped for breakfast, after enquiring if there were toilets! The toilet was a little ‘rustic’, but everything worked. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast delicious. We vowed to return, as the location, quality and staff made it all worthwhile. well done everyone.
