Being a Portuguese eating francesinha in London would always be an experience to have sooner or later. Today we went to the Frhappy opened few months ago in Islington. The francesinha was just ok, but not even close as one of the best have tried before. It is not the way it was made, maybe it is just the flavours were not as genuine as the ones we are used to in Portugal. But to be fair cooking a winner francesinha would always be a huge challenge and specially doing it overseas. The regular classic portion was good. The fries were very good, crispy and not oily. With a 20cl portuguese beer it cost us around 22 each which I would consider a bit pricey for the type of meal.
