Great place if you like your meat!! Great selection of accompaniments for the meat including salad potatoes and rice and the waiters are walking around with different meats (beef, pork, chicken, ribs, sausages) and cutting off tender slices for you to try. you have a system where you have a card for red or green – green indicates you want more, red means you are full! Good quality meat.

Big bag of (unrested) shite. What an appalling experience. A buffet of tasteless couscous, tomato quarters and (strangely) lasagne in the middle of about 400 tables. Then the sight of waiters with skewers of meat dodging about seemingly randomly, slicing off a thin piece of gammon here and a solitary chicken wing there. Meat needs to rest if it’s to be an enjoyable chewing sensation. Whilst the taste was ok, the texture certainly wasn’t. We paid 25 per head plus a terrible cocktail took the bill up to 72 for 2. I know this is Angel etc. but come on…! I just try and imagine what you could have got at Crystal on Holloway Road for that sort of money. We had a green plastic disc to say we were still ok for meat but after an hour and about 4 pieces each we thought time to go. I will admit however, that about 4000 people must disagree with us as the place was truly rammed. Now before you start thinking i’m some sort of food snob let me tell you i’m from Jarrow, where chips and gravy are the norm. And would have been much better than this crap. Thank you for listening..! xx

There are people in life that feel they can take the piss and the owners of Rico’s clearly feel they can. The meat is terrible quality and the amount of time the waiters attend your table is laughable. I would expect a least every 15mins for 25quid pp. Waste of time and money. Might as well spend the cash at nandoes.

Great night out. Always busy in here and for good reason, ok you will probably have to wait for a table evan if you have booked, but this is a good thing because if you are at an eat as much as you like and there are loads of people then they are making more and more meat on the bbq.try anything they offer you on a hot skewer or you might miss out on something good, less is more try little bits and then have more..if you fill up too fast..you lose! The salad buffet alone is brilliant, i had a birthday meal here with 24 people and two of them were veggie which is a bit tough as this is obvioulsy a meat fest but they loved it they got corn on cob and bbq pinaple etc but mainly the salad bar which has pasta dished and chips and breads etcstaff are fun and ffriendly, the music is nice brazilian style and the ambience is upbeat and partylike especially at the weekendprice is fixed so go hungryokay the salty thing…i know i know, but to be honest its nice, its authentic and you woldnt eat it everyday. In Argentina the home of good steaks its no secret they use a lot of salt, in brazil they salt their bbq meats. some of the meats are more salty than other but for me its just perfect and to be honest it makes you drink more 😉

Mr David Haynes. I think that this restaurant is fabulous particularly if you are a big meat eater.

The salad bar is really good very close to a autentic Rodizio Brazilian restaurant! But the meat was very wrongly cooked! No way as near as a Brazilian barbecue! Such a pity as the restaurants is beautiful and well decorated! Service wasn’t too bad!!

The food are great, perfectly cookt food; some people says it to salty, but this is the outer rubb used to give the meat flavor and tenderizing. If you do not want the slightly salty rubb-have the 2nd slice without the crust. The Chicken hearts is to die for, perfectly made. They have salads to, but mostly you go there for the fantastic meat.
