Very good quality/price ratio. Fish seemed fresh and the choice was ample. Definitely recommended for a good neighbourhood, affordable sushi (probably wouldn’t cross town to eat here though). The vibe of the place was also very pleasant.

Tenshi is a Japanese restaurant in Islington where you can find from bento boxes, ramen soups and the popular sushi and sashimi. We went for a set of super fresh thick sashimi of tuna salmon and seabass and some rolls of maki sushi simple and delicious. With a pont of japanese beer and some edamame snacks we’ve paid 34

We needed something quick before going to a comedy show across the road. We decided upon this place because of its noodles and rice menu. I decided on the pumpkin croquette katsu curry. What it lacked in presentation it made up for in taste! The katsu curry put wagammas to shame. The croquettes were big and delightful too. Highly recommend this!

Love having lunch in this place! I tend to go for their set bento menu with pork katsu. It is very filling as it comes with rice, edamame, miso soup and gyoza. Service is pretty good and speedy (important for lunch!). The place is a bit small so sometimes it’s difficult to get a seat straight away.

I was taken here for dinner as I was recommended to try the agadeshi tofu here. I was not disappointed! The sushi here was delicious. I had the salmon and avocado hand roll and my boyfriend had the prawn hand roll. I took my time with the sushi and let the crispy skin on the tofu absorb the sauce! It was still just as tasty but make sure you eat it when it arrives :)Would definitely come back here again but do note it is quite a small place so can get busy. makebaketravel.blogspot.com

For online orders, this company has outrageously rude, offensive, and incompetent customer service. The upshot: Will. Never. Order. Again. The short version: While waiting for a delivery order, I received a call about an item out of stock. There was a substitution I was willing to accept, although it was 1 more. I also offered to simply accept a refund for the missing item. Person on the phone kept insisting I take an alternate item at the same price, and did not know how to refund the initial item. As there was nothing else I wanted, I suggested in that case Tenshi absorb the 1 difference and give me the alternate item already proposed. This did not strike me as unreasonable, given the issue was on Tenshi’s side and I was already waiting for the order. 1 seems like a small price to pay to show goodwill, apologize for the inconvenience, and maintain positive customer relations. Seriously. And, as it was, the call was becoming unnecessarily protracted. When the person rudely refused, I requested they cancel the entire order and send me a confirmation email to that effect. What a waste of time. Over a measly 1 on what was a 35 ticket. This is how Tenshi regards its customers.I never received a confirmation email, nor did I receive a call from the manager, Sumi. Instead, I received a call from the initial woman, ruder than ever, to say that they would get to my refund in a few days. Great, now even more time to waste following up with the bank.Unbelievable. With all the food options in central London, and in Angel especially, some basic courtesy seems like a smart strategic choice — if nothing else. Also, I was a very good customer and had ordered many times before.

Had some good sushi there. Proves are affordable and service is good. Try get a seat outside as the restaurant is rather small and cramped. Enjoyed their crunchy tuna rolls and salmon and avocado rolls
