Sweet little bar upstairs! Great music and lively feel. It can get cramped on a busy evening however a good place to start off a night out with pre drinks and bites!
Went here twice during my stay. Ladybird Happy Hour is well worth it. Good prices and tasty drinks. I recommend La Chocolat for any chocolate lovers. Service was great, bartenders are clearly experienced and love their job. I spent a great time with my friends and Saturday it was fully packed, there was a big party in what I think they call the basement, downstairs, everyone looked liked they were having a fabulous time! Amazing DJ and delicious drinks! Will definitely be back!
The Ladybird is a really nice bar in Angel. I would recommend good nah with a small group of people as the venue itself is quite small. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed. Downstairs they have a dance floor with a small bar but it does not fit too many people so I ended up needing to go out for air a lot. The cocktail menu is designed as a storybook with all the cocktails named after fairytale characters. I had the Mulan which is basically gin and pineapple and I really liked it. The prices are around 8.50 per cocktail though so it may turn out to be an expensive night out. If you go very early on a weekday they do have a happy hour so I’d recommend doing that instead and you will also get to avoid the crowds. I would definitely like to go back and try more of their cocktails on a quiet night. darcrose22albionadventures.blogspot.com
Cute bar towards the bottom of Upper Street near Angel station – good selection of cocktails around 9 each and has an upstairs and a downstairs.
This is a cool little bar to start out at if meeting friends, I wet early evening and the cocktails were pretty good. There were a couple of decent ones in there other than that there were all the usual characters It may well be better later on but as a small bar I prefer it as a starting point rather than the place you end up.
