Gerekten gzeldi. lk defa hint yemei tattm. Bir tane seimimiz peynir ve spanakl bir yemekti. Dieriyse krili kuzu etiydi. Her ikisini de ok beendim. Yannda verdikleri ekmek kk pideye benziyor ama yine zerinde gezdirdikleri yeillik (yeil soan olmal) ve tereya birleimi ok gzel olmutu. Pilav da aldk, yemein yannda ar kamamas iin sanrm sadece halama oluyor. Sade yenecek gibi deil ama yemein yannda mutlaka pilav ya da ekmek istiyorsunuz. Ekmeklerinin ad Naan. Ana yemekten nce bir de cips gibi bir ekmek trevi geliyor baya gzel. Tek bama bile tketilebilir. Yanndaki marmelatms soslarla yeniyor. Mango lassi itim. Alkolsuz iecek. Yourt mango karm. Yemein yannda imektense ayrca imeyi tercih ederdim. Tad houma gitti gerekten. Genelde de beeniliyormu. Bu mekan hindistan’da bir restorant naslsa yle yaplmasna zen gsterilmi. Hint restorantna gideceim ngiltere’de/Oxford’da diyorsanz, kesinlikle gidin derim.
Have tried their food a couple of times as a student in Oxford, craving for Indian food. Their buffet is just marvellous with a sumptuous spread which includes different varieties of kebabs and Indian breads and lots of curries to choose from, the taste and flavours are just about perfect and the quality of food is excellent. If in Oxford and craving for some real Indian food this place shouldn’t be missed for sure!
Enjoyed this place. Found this place by walking around. Early week night and no crowd so immediately seated at table. Good recommendations from staff and our food was quickly brought out. Great level of spice in the food and hit our requested heat level spot on.
Great Indian food with a modern twist. 4500 miles is an Indian restaurant with a modern twist. You will not find any flocked wallpaper, instead they boast clean decor and attention to detail in the presentation of food. The menu is varied and the food absolutely brilliant. Service was prompt and friendly however each time i have visited it has been during quiet periods of the day. This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Oxford and despite the quality i find it cheaper than some far inferior competitors.There is a very reasonably priced weekday ‘all you can eat’ buffet too, priced at around 12 pounds.
Poor service. We had booked a table for 8.30 for a birthday treat. we arrived at 8.20. we were told would be ready in a few mins..we waited and waited. we brought ourselves a drink and at 9.10 we asked when the table would be ready and they said just a few more mins. we left in and will never return. if when we arrived they would have said sorry sir your table will be 30 mins but please have a drink on us and wait we would have but just to sit and wait is unacceptable. other peolpe also left. would not recommend to anyone. it was also very loud in there like a large eating hall rather than a resturant. very disapointed
