Okay food, awful service. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday – it was meant to be a special romantic treat. But the service was so bad: we couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t slow, the waiter was just the rudest person I’ve ever come across. We’d had a late night the day before, and were on the soft drinks, but the waiter kept pushing us to have a bottle of wine, even after dessert! Then he audibly tutted when we didn’t add the tip to the credit card amount (I normally give it in cash anyway). The food’s okay, but with service like that it really put me off.
