Established in 1997, it is an excellent venue for business as well as leisure meals, with a branch open in Solihull as well.AtmosphereMetro Bar & Grill has a really classy, modern and stylish interior. The venue has a lively and relaxed atmosphere within comfortable surroundings, made all the better with the delightful service we received.foodThe menu consists of a mouth-watering mix of grills, steaks and seafood dishes with vegetarian options. There are light lunch choices on the cards, as well as richer and more indulgent dishes. I opted for two starters as a main: the salt and pepper squid with citrus mayonnaise and the baked goats cheese parcel served with sweet red pepper marmalade. The squid was deliciously crispy and the goats cheese parcel simply melted in my mouth, complemented perfectly by the marmalade.For the sweet tooth, the pudding range on the menu includes classic culinary delights such as poached pear with vanilla pannacotta and sticky toffee pudding with crme anglais.drinkMetro Bar & Grill boasts a superb wine and champagne list in addition to a great selection of ales, lagers, spirits and soft drinks. The wines are from around the world and include the English wine Welcombe Hills Hollow Meadow, from Warwickshire.All in all, I have to say that we had a very enjoyable evening indeed; Metro Bar & Grill is a fantastic venue to eat and drink in the city.
