Pleasant evening, good service and let us talk away without pushing us out the door. Competent dishes. Enjoyed my pasta but not blown away by the calamari which was a little greasy with a crumb coating (I prefer batter). The prawns and chicken in the pasta sauce was a little overcooked and tough. Would return for service alone but next time I’ll try the pizza.
Overall very good. Ticked all the right boxes apart from the fact that when we first arrived we had to wait 10-15 mins to be seated. It was very busy though! Aside from that everything was spot on however a few times the waiter service was a little below par (at one point someone elses order was bought to our table, and we had to ask for a dessert menu because the waiter had missed our table). No major problem though, the food was great and the atmosphere was good due to it being busy and full. We paid for three courses pp, one bottle of wine and additonal drinks and it came to around 35 a head which includes the 10percent tip. I highly recommend the fillet steak despite its slightly higher than normal price of 20. Overall a very good place to go!
Highly recommend this as a good Italian in city centre. Everything you want with good atmosphere and attentive staff
If in Birmingham City Centre & want some tasty Italian food, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Pasta di Piazza is a lovely place for lunch or evening dinning.
If you are in Birmingham and want some real Italian food go here. Strong menu, with daily specials. Family friendly. A winner.
