I’ve been to Sam’s many times now and it is consistently excellent. Its cosy, bustling and sophistcated in all the best ways. We liked it so much we completed one of Sam Metcalfe’s ‘kitchen experiences’ where you work for Sam for the morning helping out, before having lunch. So with first hand experience I can tell you that the produce and kitchen are all impecabbly well kept and that Sam demands extremely high standards of his team. It’s great for both dinner with friends or as a couple. The Dover sole is a highlight. Book early at weekends to get a table.
