Within Armstrong Ward our small caf is often described by customers as a "hidden gem". We offer a range of lovely cakes, scones and tray bakes, great coffee and proper loose tea. We also serve home made soup and sandwiches, all made with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. We have a children's menu and daily homemade specials. We are accessible for prams and wheelchairs, have highchairs and a customer loo with baby change facilities too. A pay and display parking adjacent to Armstrong Ward caf.Details

We love seeking out great homemade, artisan-type cafes and Armstrong Ward’s Lifestore has this brilliant downstairs cafe. Great service. Lovely feel and fab tasties to go with the coffee. Definitely recommend and will definitely return.
Visited here after parking in Booths’ car park. The shop is beautiful, lots of lovely gifts. We visited the cafe for the first time and we weren’t disappointed. Food was delicious – freshly made and excellent value for money.
