Costas - the owner - has over 30 years of experience in the Fish and Chip industry and it is safe to say cooks up the best fish and chips in town. Stramongate Chip Shop is proud to have won awards from "The Good Food Eating Guide" snce 2005, and is the only chip shop in town and in the south lakes to have won these award. We offer competative and reasonable prices, and a wide variety of products - from pies, sausages, burgers, and fish. Our fish is from sustainable sources. Our potatoes are to the highest quality peeled and chipped fresh every day - no matter what the weather is snow rain or sunshine costas is there every morning, All products are locally sourced where possible, as it is important to us to keep business in our towns closest to us, than finding products from afar. We use biodegradable carrier bags - to save our environment :p Finally - il save the words, and let you come down and visit and get the true taste of our delicious award winning fish and chips for yourselves.
