V solid choice. Cosier than the Tommyfield for a nice pint. Above par Sunday Roast for a 10er. A yuppy haven, but in some cases that just means a decent pub with good ales (and board games if that’s how you choose to live your life). If you’re meeting someone with access to the Northern Line for a pint, this pub’s 100% worth a punt.[had to find pub for a double date, was given criteria ‘must be nice’ & ‘must be showing the rugby’ – booked a table for 4 two hours in advance and absolutely nailed it w/ a perfect view of the screen to have our lunch in front of. Raked in the brownie points ?]
