Went here in July for my son’s 15th and it was wonderful!!!! Just as I remembered it when I used to live in Kentish Town over ten years ago. The food was delicious, I had the curry goat and it was absolutely authentic and full of flavour. The service could not have been better or more attentive and the newly refurbished look of the restaurant creates a warm, cosy atmosphere with a wonderful upstairs space that I would definitely consider for future parties or events. Definitely go again and hopefully soon there was so much on the menu I wanted to try.
I had made a reservation and went there with my group. It turned out to be a pretty bad choice. The service was quite bad and the food was very expensive. The quality of food was quite average and must say I have had better quality of food at other places.
This is one of those amazing Caribbean restaurants in the neighborhood that offer delicious savory starters and a cool calm atmosphere. The service is prompt and the staff is both attentive and professional. We had particularly enjoyed the rum punch which was delectable. The prices are on a steep side but worth it!
I recently tried this place with one of my friends and was pleasantly surprised with the Caribbean experience. The food was excellent and mainly because we had a great help from the waiter assisting us in choosing the dishes from the menu. The service is amazing and the staff is quite warm and friendly. The wine selection is quite awesome as well. All in all we had a great time here as this place offers good value food and would love to come back here again.
Ok so they ain’t spent a fortune on the decor, and the staff, while not rude, can’t be described as the happiest bunch!….but they’re food (and that’s pretty much all I care about) is first rate….eaten here twice now and the 6 plates of food I’ve eaten in total have all been superb.
Damn average, burnt dry rice, rest ok but pretty damn average…not awful mind – just average…
I have grown up on Jamaican food, Mango Room did not disappoint. A good menu, shame it is tucked away in Camden, worth seeking out.
