We had booked a table for 10 originally and when we turned up they had completely forgotten about our booking and they refused to give us a table for nearly an hour until we simply took a table of our own to sit at. Awful administration. When we finally sat down to eat and drink, the food in this place was barely edible, the music was awful, and the place was suffused with a smell of vomit and beer. On top of that a mentally unstable bartender with ponytails started yelling at us telling us to leave immediately because she had not heard us say thank you (even though we had said thank you) for our last three drinks. This is the worst pub I have visited in my entire life and I am happy to say that I will never come back to this pub again in the future. I recommend anyone trying to have a good time to stay away from this place.

Camden. A melting pot of all sorts. Goths meet Geek, Tourists meet Locals, Shoppers meet Gig goers. Its a busy place, firmly on the travelers map. There are no shortages of back packs, tattoos and piercings. In amonsgt this is a little pub on the major intersection next to Camden Station. Sit by the window and watch the entertainment go by or head upstairs. Reasonably priced drinks and they do pizza, burgers, sandwiches and some Brit faves such as fish n chips, bangers n mash. I could not tell you if its any good as this is definitely a drinking place and there is a huge amount of gorg dining places to go including a nearby veg oriental buffet all you can eat and gorgeous Camden staple of years and years, Mango Room – so take a leap of faith. As a stopping point while i waites for the doors to open at Jazz Cafe, it did its job. cookandpour.co.uk
The Camden Eye is located in a fantastic place, right opposite the station (where you enter the station, not exit). It stands alone, proud and pretty. Inside is quite small and it does get really busy! Go early before the tables get snapped up. There’s a DJ on every week and are open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, there’s an open mic night on Tuesdays and they serve wood fire pizzas! (I’ve never tried the pizza but the other foods are nice). This is a great after work place as you can just stumble to the station without too much walking & there’s a kebab shop opposite if you get hungry in the early morning hours. Love it!
