The Vine is overrated. Went for a work lunch and despite ordering first my order didn’t turn up for an hour and that was only after I chased the staff up. My order had been delivered to another table. Everyone else at my table had their food delivered. By the time my order arrived everyone else at my table had finished. Our one hour lunch break was over and I had to rush eating my food. I was given a paltry 2 compensation for this. I spent 14.50. When my burger was brought over, the waitress said ‘Where’s burger girl ?’ – Insulting. I can’t believe I was addressed like this. How is this professional service ?Let’s not even talk about the food. Chips were so overcooked I couldn’t eat them. They were rock hard. Burger was rare in the middle, I was not even asked how I would liked my burger cooked.I won’t be returning to The Vine despite it’s proximity to my work place. Lunch hours are an hour, at the Vine they don’t seem to understand this. Food is not worth a visit. Avoid.
