Stopped in after our walk around Ashness Bridge and Walla Crag. The Ice-cream is irresistible with a unique range of flavours to cleanse any pallet.Staff were lovely and friendly. If I do this route again, I will be stopping for something more substantial.
Lovely little cafe, pretty inside, but as it was sunny we sat outside by the stream. Staff were friendly, food was quick and tasty as well as being good quality. Really enjoyed our visit, will be back!
A cute little cafe situated just after the woods down the hill from the castlerigg stone circle. Was nice to find somewhere to sit down, but this place was very expensive. £2.50 for a slice of cake is somewhat extortionate in my opinion.
Had a full English which was tasty and well cooked. Great ice cream and friendly service made for a pleasant hour by the river. Will be heading back for sure.
