What a disappointment. We have been to Monsoon many times and have always enjoyed the experience (although a little on the slow side the staff were always apologetic and easy to talk to). We were incredibly disappointed when we visited on Bonfire night (pre booked) to find that it took 45minutes to order drinks, a further 15 minutes for a food order to be taken and then an hour for starters to arrive. When they did it was clear that the cooking had been rushed and food was warm not hot. We then had to wait a further hour for mains to come; we did ask how long they would be but were told they were coming – no apology so we did say that so far the food not service had been acceptable and we were not happy. By this time it was 11o’clock so we asked for our food to go only to be told no and that it was already plated up. A further 25 minutes later our mains arrived, again luke warm and the naan was covered in strawberry sauce. When we expressed our overall dissatisfaction to the manager he became very rude. We did not pay the full price of the meal (we refused) and were told in front of other customers to ‘just pay and get out’. We were disgusted. Perhaps the restaurant is under new management, in any case it is certainly not the restaurant that we have recommended many times to family and friends!
Monsoon has to be my favourite local Indian restaurant! The staff are so welcoming and helpful, the service is quick but you never feel rushed and the food is simply delicious!! I have taken so many friends and family members there and they are never disappointed!! I would always recommend this place!

Great place of eat!. Well what can i say about Monsoon? This is a great place to go and enjoy a meal, either with friends, as a couple or in a larger party as i did when i ended my stag night there with 21 of my mates. The service is of high quality and nothing is to much for the staff to do for you. The food is always of a high standard and the fusion dishes are a must to be tried. So if you want an all round good night out and a good meal give Monsoon a try i dont think you will regret it.
Excellent food served in decent size portions, usually deliveres in 30-40 mins and always hot!
