I have been going to Bombay Blues for the past 8 years, have never had a bad meal, or any problems at all. The food and the service is always of incredibly high standard, the best Indian food I have ever eaten. It is slightly more expensive than other places but that doesn’t bother me as this restaurant is far superior to any other in the area. Always keep coming back, we’re always looked after and the food is wonderful.

This is great place. Recently refurbished the place and it is looking plush. They have also introduced a new menu which unique. Very different offerings such as the Jai Ho 700 which is a alternative for Korma and Masala lovers. Don’t forget the Slumdog Bite starters. The dishes literally cone to life and the flavours are fantastic. I cannot agree with any bad reviews. The people before do seem like a bunch of kids and in all restaurants you required to have atleast one main course per person. NEW MENU. NEW LOOK. BETTER TASTE

I went out with my friends for a meal as it was someone’s birthday. We went to bombay blues. The staff were rude, refusing to let us share our food, being late to give us the food, forgot a person’s meal, then told us we had to leave as there was a new party coming. They started clearing away our chairs while we were still at the meal, and for the birthday cake, they just gave us the box, didn’t put it on a plate, didn’t give us plates or a knife or candles. The food was good, but the staff were horrendous. It was probably because we were young-ish and they thought they could take advantage of that. They were so rude, asked for the 65p back from the bill, and didn’t tip. Do not got to bombay blues.

Terrible!. The food was average, the service was diabolical. We were treated like lower class citizens. We were practically pushed out of the door. No manners or respect on their behalf. I would not recommend that you go here if you’re in a large group. In fact, I don’t recommend that you go here whatever the circumstances. Not worth the money. Never returning.

Great Food, Great Decor, Great Service. Definately a family orientated restaurant05 Aug, 2009Good Family Restaurant. This place is a perfect family event. I went last week with a booking of 28 people during the peak time of 8pm. Bombay blues managed us with ease providing great food with great service. the service was not rushed as everybody was given their meal in a smooth operatio as the waiters looked like they were on the ball. food was great with a variety of dishes. not oily and greasy which is good for the body. excited about the new menu their bringing out. no chavs and roudy youngsters just a quiet busy place where you can enjoy good food with a service with a smile
