  Delicious fresh and moist eggless cakes. A superb array of options and always created on time. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s amongst the best I’ve had!

  So I’ve been ordering my cakes for years from only eggless, we usually order over 10 cakes from them a year!!! So I called them up on Thursday to place an order for my dad’s 60th surprise birthday, they offered me two types of cake, one was a raised digit cake and one was the numbered shaped cakes. I opted for the digit cake based on a recommendation from the sales advisor, so I went ahead and placed the order for a 10inch cake with two raised digits. The cake was due to be delivered for Saturday between 3-7pm; I got a call on Saturday at 1pm saying they made a mistake, and that the cake can’t be 10inch for a raised digit, it has to be minimum of 14inches! They clearly accepted this was their mistakes but yet demanded me to pay 20 extra to upgrade to a 14inch cake otherwise they won’t deliver the cake! I didn’t need that much cake, and would have opted for a number cake instead of a raised digit if I had known earlier coz the price would have been similar. It’s also worth mention they tried to scam me by saying instead of a raised digit cake we can give you a normal cake but write happy 60th on the cake using icing (thats a cake that normally costs about 23 pound instead of the 46 pounds I paid, without even offering a me a refund on the difference). It wasn’t until I confronted the sales man about the cost difference did he then offer to refund the difference. I tried to ask for their manager, but he was ‘unavailable’. I spent then over two hours of my precious time trying to sort something out with them instead of organising the party. He cheekily offered me a 10% discount for my next order to which my response was *I’d be nuts to order a cake from you guys ever again*. After a two hour conversation I told them to cancel the order and had to wait for their manager to come in and authorise my refund! and was left scrambling to find someone who was going to bake a cake to be delivered in two hours; I called up Kool Cakes and placed a number cake that was 20 cheaper than only eggless; not to mention it was A LOT more tastier (had a lot more cake than cream compared to only eggless and I’m not just that for the sake of it). If I’m honest it wasnt about the 20, it was a matter of concept, felt let down massively by them having promoted them to so many of my friends, not even sure why I bothered to order it with only Eggless in the first place. Needless to say this company cannot be trusted with any cake order. I seriously beg you to avoid them.
