The place has been around for a long time and the food here is what you get they has not been a change in the taste. The drinks have improved here with a wide range coming in. If your around in the area then it’s a must go place.
I was visiting some friends in the area and we decided to order in for dinner. I requested Indian food as a had a terrible craving for it, so they highly recommended this place and said they order from here at least once a week so I readily agreed. The food was delivered within 40 minutes and was well packaged and once you opened it up every single dish looked visually appealing and didn’t have a powerful odour and it was just carrying around a mild smell of spices so I knew we were off to a good start. Finding Authentic Indian in a foreign Country is usually a bit of a challenge but this place delivered on all fronts, to know that they have been functioning for decades and still maintain high quality standards and incredible taste is such a delightful surprise. I found the food economically priced for the taste and quality. We ordered an array of dishes and none disappointed The dishes I highly recommend are Mogo : this dish of fried potatoes though not of Indian origin is delicious Mushkaki : succulent and flavour packed Methi chicken : well balanced in spices and not very spicy with the chicken cooked to perfection Dal : the plain and simple yellow dal was the perfect accompaniment for my rice and chicken curry Every time i’m in the area and wanting Indian food this place will be my go to choice for certain.
Authentic Indian! Ordered in on a friend’s recommendation. Have to say, we may found the best authentic Indian food in London. Well around London 😉 it’s a bit away from the central. But definitely worth the tube ride. The Methi chicken and Mutton dishes were a delight. For starters do order the garlic Mogo and Mushkaki. They do have a chef’s special Bombay Chicken Bahar which is a curry with quite a flavor explosion. I always order the Dal at any Indian restaurant and they really nailed the yellow Dal. Must visit!
Great concept: Bar / Restaurant. Extensive range of main dishes and really good starters especially for those light snacks when watching sport and having a few with the lads. The grills are exceptional. The chicken wings and kebabs hit home. Really liked the Chilli paneer – great flavor. The spicy curries are hot – beware! This is my regular stop when in London!
The food was terrible. The worst restaurant I’ve ever been in my entire life. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The restaurant needs a full revamp
The Regency Club – The ambience is so english that you might confuse it for an english pub. This place is a great choice for all the Desi people. Love the piri fries, the garlic mogo, the Balti chicken and the garlic naans. Ambience : 8/10Food : 9/10Recommended for all the Indians and Pakistani’s.
Regency club is a legend in itself…been going there for 20yrs now!! Miss it badly as I live abroad now! Chicken wings, mushkaki, garlic mogo, paneer tikka, lamb mari masala…the naans…I could just go on and on and on….
