The cutest little cafe on Kingsland Road. Local to me, so a stones throw away to grab a coffee. They have a lovely little terrace too and some wifi if you want to set up your office and work for a bit .The terrace is big and whilst it looks on to the main road, the high hedges gives you a little bit of privacy and quiet. Not full of hipsters but chilled locals when i went there. They have also been known to do little independent exhibits of independent artists. cookandpour.co.uk

The atmosphere is nice and I enjoyed the baked eggs but the reason I’m giving Curio Cabal a 3 is because 1. The service is slow 2. It does little to separate itself from its competitors The prices are not particularly competitive nor is the food particularly delicious. It’s a pity because this place has potential.

Cute retro cafe with a hipster feel. Small menu but good options for all. Nice for a coffee or tea in their outdoor area. Lots of people on laptops so a nice place to work from.

Curio Cabal is one of the coziest places around Haggerston and a real second home on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The coffee is always impeccable and the guys are chatty and always serve you with a smile, so you feel like you’re among friends. The brunch menu changes often and it’s generally really good. The baked eggs with bell peppers are absolutely delicious! Perfect local spot.
