It has all the elements to make a good pub, but attitudes to customers small portions of otherwise good food are as the pub is v expensive for what it is and the area meen that although convinent I seek other more welcoming (slightly less pretentious and overbearing) place of entertainment. Good they take dogs and as I said before a nice old building under the Nuevo bling12 Jan, 2012Nice interior, nothing spectacular. Lovely original pub. Has the feel of a school disco staff seem to delight in being ‘prefects’.Now unwelcoming, expensive and won’t alow e- cigs. Still a great area Dalston however food portions v small etc leaves nasty taste in mouth.
Great pub!. Great atmosphere, very relaxed and plenty of seating inside and out. Dogs are welcome which will make dog owners and dog lovers very happy. Food menu is varied and everything we have tried has been fab. Could have ordered 10 bowls of the triple cooked chips!So happy that we can call this place our local.
