Grey. A friend asked some locals (Sair Inn) for advice any decent take-away. I’m in Golcar (and perhaps spoilt being originally from Brum) – there’s pretty much no good takeaways for miles (inc. Mr Happy, Diddi’s, Pizza Delight, Imran’s, blah…) – just one pretty good curry up the hill (oddly called Marios). So…thought give it a go and order my standard Chicken Jalfrezi, to fairly compare.Mario’s does this well, but it’s always an unusual very dark brown, so wondered if would be a standard lighter colour. Opened the container – and it was grey in colour!! Now it didn’t have much fat, so ok for that, and had some flavour… but overall it tasted like it looked – grey!Why do so many people whose livelihoods depend on making food for others make such a crap job of it??
