  Sunday Roast from ICELAND!!. Went to Knutsford Wine Bar (11/12/11) with a group of friends and opted for the fixed price Sunday Roast – two courses 14.95 – option either a starter and roast or roast and dessert. The diners who opted for the starter and roast were pleased with their choice of fishcakes as their starter, however, we were all in agreement that the roast dinner that followed was hugely disappointing in terms of quality and quantity.the meal was lukewarm and quite frankly could have come from the supermarket chain Iceland! In fact one diner even commented Aunt Bessies roast potatoes were more superior to what was dished out by KWB! I’m afraid it didn’t get any betterthe diners who opted for the dessert section (cheese option) were given 4 crackers and the smallest, thinnest slices of cheese imaginable – in fact only enough to accommodate 1 cracker!! We made our feelings known to the management however it’s like ‘water off a ducks back’..thank heavens for review sites like this one! The above having been said, and having regard to other reviews, I would give Knutsford Wine Bar another go however I would stay well clear of the Sunday Lunch Menu.

  Shame. Great decor, lovely food, superb cocktails..just a shame that the drunken crowd that fill the bar and the smokers who block the entrance are such losers. Get past them and you can have yourself a lovely evening!
