Visit this restaurant for strange experiences, It’s an Indian restaurant however feels like they don’t expect or want Indian people(Or Subcontinent people) inside. Staff can’t be considered to be polite, once you are in you will get constant reminders to place your order, once you have ordered you will be constantly asked if you want something else to order even after your food has arrived. Waiters will just stay there and watch you eat as if waiting for you to finish as quickly as you can and it’s a very small place mind you. it’s kind of disturbing. Food isn’t great either it’s just ok. Not recommended.

The food here is very hit and miss. One day it may be one of the best within the budget and other times, a little disappointing. However the service is generally good and home delivery offers a free bottle of wine for a 15 minimum spend. Not bad!

I forsook more expensive and recommended restaurants to go to this one, which was convenient to my hotel in Central Birmingham. And, I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside it looks like a typical tourist trap with a cheap and cheerful menu of curry staples and the interior decor is nothing special. But the service was friendly and efficient and I had a pint of Cobra in my hand within about a minute. I ordered some bhajis, poppadoms, and a chicken jal, which were all first rate and in good portions. Meanwhile, a variety of regulars were coming in to pick up takeways and chat amiably with the front of house guy, and I had the impression the place was regarded as a reliable local eatery.
