Pitcher & Piano is all about the location. Placed perfectly next to the canal it offers a relaxed spot for some afternoon and/or after-work rest and drinks. It continues to be a favourite spot for the family during our afternoon walks, especially their outside seating, to take a breather so to speak and have some Chips, which are thick and perfectly cooked, always, and depending on the weather either cool off or warm up with drinks. We’ve never tried their mains, so that aspect remains untested as of now. The staff is extremely friendly and the general vibe at the place and the whole of Brindleyplace in-general is usually happy so you can easily while away an hour or so talking to friends or simply people and boat watching tickereatstheworld.com

Lovely ambience as it is situated along the canal with tables and chairs inviting us in. The food overall is good with good quantity. A good place to catch up with friends for some good food and drink.

This place has Good Vibes, Lovely Ambience and Nice Location. It’s cosy and great to enjoy a drink. Ample space and courteous staff. Lots of options to nibble while you enjoy your drink. It’s prettier during the evening and nights and views are spectacular. Definitely worth paying a visit.

  • Gezenti Anne

Nicely decorated cafe restaurant right in the heart of the city, just off Broad Street. The terrace overlooking the canal is amazing. Fish Finger Buttie is crunchy and tasty. Although the staff sometimes struggle during rush hours, this place is definitely worth to try. gezentianne.com

Cosy yet classic, the pitcher and piano provides the perfect place or work colleges to relax, students to have a quiet ‘classier’ drink, and couples to have a date. The lounge overlooks the canal and at night the fairy lights laminate the outdoor seating area. All in all a great place to grab a glass of wine!

So the thing with Pitcher and Piano is that It is a lovely spot for a date or even long drunk conversations with your pals. I have been here on many many occasions.. Right from quick catch up’s to farewell drinks with friends!!The best thing about P&P is that they have the lovely fireplace on the lower level which is the best thing that can happen to you on a chilly winter evening.. Also at times its amazing fun to go down and try sitting by the canal and enjoying a drink or two.. Absolutely stunning..Have tried out their food offerings a few times and everything is alright..Food: 3/5Ambiance: 4/5VFM: 4.5/5Service: 4/5 (Unless you end up there in on a weekend.. The crowd makes their and your life hell)
