Your average local pub but with food that’s above average. Nothing wild, wholesome dishes/flavours. I particularly enjoy the jacket potatoes with beans and cheese. Sounds weird but tastes good and is hard to go wrong with. The vibe definitely picks up toward the evening, and they even have wifi if you’re looking for a work spot that’s not a coffee shop. It’s a little hidden down on lower marsh street but a nicer pub to meet in near Waterloo station than some of the others. It also shows sport and has a beer garden (bonus). londoncurryblog.com
This place is very roomy apparently because of the high ceiling. They have outdoor seating as well, though I liked it inside.The bar staff is very friendly and are up for a laugh always.They have got proper ales here. On your visit you might wonder whether you are going in the right direction or not because on Tuesday the streets are empty but trust on google maps they are taking you in the right direction.If you are looking for a friendly pub you have got yourself a vote for this one.There is a room upstairs which is perfect for meetings like our blogger meetup, you can have your privacy there.This place was perfect for me and I can say once you will visit you will say the same .
