Service only so and so. The food is only OK, little taste. And the hight price to go with a low rating restaurant. Well I guest this is the last time for me.
Odd place, stuck in an odd location. Over exuberant waitress asked every 10mins if everything was OK, which became a little off putting, given that nothing had changed since the last inquiry. Odd.We ordered sashimi tuna (lovely and fresh), katzu rolls (delish) but the cucumber maki never arrived. Edamame were strangely unsalted. The chicken karage don on rice was foul. Dry lumps of battered chicken perched on sushi rice. No sauce. How do you eat this? Tempura prawn was admittedly pleasant, but wasn’t tempura. And there were only 3 slender prawns, and they took a long time to arrive. The kitchen is very small, and seems to have exhaust issues in that every time there’s a fried/hot dish prepared, the restaurant is overwhelmed with fumes.Menu is very limited, but oddly has an extensive sake offering. I suspect the owner prefers the turps over the tucker. Not unpleasant for lunch, but you can do better.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on much more than the decor here. We booked a table for tea however were so hungry decided to come early for a few appetisers. However the atmosphere was bleak and we weren’t allowed to order from the sushi chefs (so whats the point in a bar?) which seemed very-unjapanese! We decided not to stay for tea.
