I was in the area and was tipped off by a local worker that this place was ‘the business’ when it comes to a good, cheap lunch. After eating there I totally agree! At first look it has the charm of a cheap food court but the food and service make up for the basic decor. Authentic Polish fare. Very tasty food for a great price
Having jumped from the seemingly (and sadly) sinking ship that is the Shopping Centre, Mamuka has a new place, but is still doing the same old top quality _hearty as they come_ Polish meals on the cheap. Get a dumpling if you can. I can’t help but go for a beef goulash, and it’s top notch. Beautiful sauce, great meat, and as the menu states ‘will leave you ready to take on a bull’ (IE you will be really full but in a good way). Also, there’s incredible pour-your-own-pints of the infamous ywiec, previously seen in tin form at your local offy – potentially one of the cheapest pints in E&C (bar the Spoons). That reason alone makes it one of the best to go for dinner and a drink if E&C is the convenient meeting place for you and your mate on a school night.
