If you are catching train from waterloo station- – in hurry and hungry you can grab a pasty from here. My personal fav is balti since it has bit of spicyness. The tikka and cheese onion are also sort of ok.
I don’t think I’ve ever bought a pasty in the summer. I see them purely as mini, edible radiators for cold hands. I particularly like their chicken and chorizo pasty which is surprising spicy, but will definitively warm you up. The Pasty Shop sometimes has a bit of a queue, but the line moves fast.
This is my meal-on-the-go… They have awesome options for chicken eaters! They have different flavours to choose from. My personal favourite is the chicken balti pasty. This is absolute comfort food when the temperatures drop, because the pasty stays hot for a really long time. And each pasty is very large so this constitutes a proper meal. You can always add a drink and I generally pick a coffee to go. As a student this kind of option is very convenient and must of the times this is my brunch.
