Zen Caf is located directly across from the London Eye on the Southbank of the River Thames. It has an excellent view of the Houses of parliament and Big Ben .Lovely central location, but tucked slightly away, so you’ve got a bit of peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle to relax . They serve sandwiches; snacks and other light fare serve including muffins, cakes, cookies and scones.Warm and friendly. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Americano coffee was excellent as was the carrot cake.
If you are in the super-crowded, super-touristy area around Westminster Bridge and near the London Eye / London Dungeons and are craving for a bit of respite from the crowds, the tourists and the chaos… you don’t need to go all the way to Southark for a peace of quiet. The aptly named Zen Cafe is a quiet haven at the back of the County Hall Building, next to the Dungeons.Its really peaceful, service is lovely. they have a huge range of pastries. We tried the Cafe Latte (one of the better ones that I have had in London), Cappucino and their Carrot Cake.
