  I have to be very harsh here please hear me out and hope the restaurant take noteIn the past 2 years I must have come in about 20 times and only ordered something 4 timesYou all probably thinking what happened the other 16 times well I was turned away from the very rude staff and being told they don’t have curry goat or rice and peas . it doesn’t help I travel from far away to come here and constantly being told it’s finished , there no number I can call before coming tooBUT when it is available it has to be the best Jamaican food I have ever had its such a shame as I would like to eat from here atleast 2 times a week but in 2 years I have only managed to eat 4 timesI have given up going there this year because u know what there going to say.Shame

  Am going to review Kool Runnings food truck which is stood in whalley range . Probably one of the best carribean food i have tasted in Manchester. The Curried Mutton on bone is absolutely to die for . The fat on the mutton just melts in your mouth . The person serving you on this truck is honest and puts all he can in giving you the best experience . The jerk chicken and jerk sauce is amazingly unmissable . There is so much variety in meat and steak that you ll be spoilt for choice . If you’re a fish lover , there is a curried sea bass that he serves sumptuously delicious. I would certainly recommend every Manchunian to take a try soon , but go there early as by 5 pm all the better foods are over .

  I googled kool runnings manchester to see if they did deliveries, unfortunately not. as i did i came across this website review for kool runnings and thought I would share my short opinion. Simply fantastic. I have been to both the trailer and shop in Fallowfield with a group of friends. I have tried the Steak Stew, Curried goat and Jerk Chicken with rice and the Jerk BBQ sauce, all of which I enjoyed immensely, absolutely delicious. Nothing in London that taste as good and as commercial looking as this place. and the price too is very fair. Note: you get a drinknwith the meal if you go to the shop in Fallowfield but not at the van. We need one of these Kool runnings in London where I’m originally from. I shall be back next week to try something else. Out of the 6 of us we 5 really enjoyed the other is quite picky in general but she wasn’t too keen on the jerk steak.

  Long Time. I decided I wasn’t going to cook tonight.. Finished work a little early for a change and thought buy some food and then chillax at home..Although the food was quite tasty the meat was tough, rice okCurry Goat and savoury rice with coleslaw!!!! Shame!! I haven’t bought from the van all year so disappointed that we are now in October’ ’12 and hum-drum.. Lots of bone of which I did ask for some but there must have been already a lot in and what little meat in there was tough all in my teeth… Ugghhhh!!!!

  Poor Quality Food!. As a regular customer to Kool Runnings in fallowfield i was highly disappointed with the food i recieved today. Usually the quality of the food is to a good standard but today the ‘curry goat’ that i recieved had literally NO meat and was mostly bone. This is the first time since the shop opened that i have recieved such poor food from there. It has made me think twice about going again as it is also a twenty minute walk from my home whereas i could go to another caribbean restaurant which only takes 5-10 minutes to walk to. Hopefully next time i opt to go to Kool Runnings, (which certainly will not be any time soon) the food will be of a better quality and standard than it was this time round.
