Our first visit to this tapas bar on Orford Road was stellar: blink and you’d think you were on holiday in Spain instead of Walthamstow, especially with the balmy evenings we had a few weeks ago.The aubergine batons are a must-order: lightly battered and drizzled in honey, they’re irresistible when hot. The mussels and clams are also winners, cooked in white wine and garlic. I was disappointed with our paella mixta, which was over salted and undercooked … the rice was a bit too hard for my liking and didn’t have enough flavor. Still, I’d take friends and family here but will stick to the tapas for our next visit. angloyankophile.com

A Lovely Romantic Evening in a lovely created space. My first time at this restaurant and what a rewarding experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and needed somewhere to go locally. Found this place on the internet and was pleasently surprised. The manager was most accomodating and offered us a table in his tight bookings. if i was a mystery shopper he would have received top marks. The food was good and reasonably priced. very busy with repeat trade. Nice ambience and attentive service . i would definitely come here again. Comes highly recommended.

Gone downhill. The tables are too small to accommodate a variety of tapas dishes, we ended up having to put our bottle of wine on the floor. The beer & wine is served warm. The tapas aren’t the best, the chef is too heavy handed with the garlic. The staff have a problem understanding English, I ordered garlic mussels and ended up with garlic mushrooms. Another restaurant, who once established has gone downhill.

Lovely restaurant with good service and a diverse menu. I would suggest that you book a table as it’s really popular especially on weekends. They even do churros con chocolate.

Lovely little tapas restaurant situated in an enclave of bars and restaurants in walthastow. The normal suspects tapas dishes are suplemented with daily specials which was a nice touch.. We particularly found the fish dishes good.. The portion sizes are also a little more generous than normal tapas.. V friendly and helpful staff made our visit well worth the trek.. Will def add this place to my favourites.. Word of warning.. Book ahead…16 Jul, 2009Nice place in an enclave of bars and restaurants in wathamstow.. Smallish tapas menu with extra daily specials which we found pretty good.. Not the normal regular dishes.. Fisf tapas
