An excellent East London curry house. Fresh ingredients you can taste in the dishes, and friendly service. A great local place to stop off for a good meal of an evening, or in preparation for a night out. The decor is warm but not over the top.
Really good food but the standard of the delivery food is not as good as eating in which is a shame!
I didn’t really know what to expect from this place as it’s exterior doesn’t look that appealing. It didn’t really get that much better when we got inside as the decor is dated and it could do with some modernisation and TLC. Having said all of that, we were waited on by polite staff. We were promptly served our drinks. They’ve got a slightly broader drinks menu than most Indians I’ve been to. We nibbled on some papadams whilst waiting on our mains. I had the butter chicken special and my other half had the chicken korma. We ordered some garlic and cheese naan. We also ordered egg fried rice (which had big chunks of egg in there and had it not been so tasty it would have been off putting). Overall the food was actually really great. It’s now my favourite local Indian restaurant. I’ll definitely be going back. Price-wise this place also gets a tick from me.
