Great spot and lovely atmosphere with really interesting cocktails. There was an issue with one of our meals but it was swiftly resolved by Mike and the replacement was delicious.
Excellent food, especially the pies. Proper pies in beautiful pastry and they don’t cost the earth. Excellent service and would go as far to say the best eating place in Lichfield .
I like to get here early on a Sat night, it’s great atmosphere. Music just at right level, not too crowded and nice ambience. Excellent selection of gins! Other drinkers well catered for! Always a must visit on a night out in Lichfield!
The bar itself was pleasant enough, the music was lively but the steaks were very overcooked, I have eaten here many times before but when it was under different management.will probably not be returning (for meals anyway)
Wandering through Lichfield on a very hot summers day we came across 55 Wade Street. Very Friendly Barman organised our drinks and even brought the freshly made coffee for my wife to our table. Good beer.
