  We went on a Saturday night with an 8:30 booking. I Had wanted to go and try it out for a while as it always looks popular and has a lively atmosphere. The menu is very good and I struggled to decide what to have. We asked for the olives as an appetiser but were told the restaurant had none which was disappointing. Instead we had some warm pita bread and humus, the humus was delicious. I then had the calamari with aioli starter which was great. For my main I had the pan fried cod loin with spinach, potatoes and a cream sauce. It was ok but not as good as Id hoped. The cod didnt really taste of anything and the same could be said about the sauce. Such a shame because it was presented very well. Service was ok, the staff were clearly very busy so they did well. To be honest Id eat there again but not in a hurry, as the menu had a lot of other dishes which Id like to have tried.

  Ordered off the price fixed menu. Calamari was tasty. 6 oz steak was extremely poor, lacked in favour and was overpowered by the chargrilled taste – however told waitress and she was very polite, thanked us for our opinion and offered us free desert.

  Went for lunch. I thought the food was excellent and good value for money.two course 12.95. Very good value for money
