JUST GREAT!…. SIMPLES!. Since moving to Lichfield this is the only chinese takeaway we have used due to its reputation and quality for money. The food is always hot when it arrives and the staff are friendly and polite. On the downside, the restaurant itself is compact and the cleanliness of the toilets leave a lot to be desired!! Anyway , the food is consistent between both takeaway and sit in restaurant, which is always good to know. There is a good menu choice and is of average price. The currys include chips or rice which is a bonus!Another nice touch is that the food comes in microwavable/reheatable containers if you want to keep some for breakfast!! lol Please try this Chinese if you’re in Lichfield – it’s a must!

Used to be excellent with great atmosphere and good food. Alas I can’t say it had either on this visit and would not rush back
The Ronseal of Restaurants!. The stalwart of chinese restaurants in Lichfield, this place does exactly what is says on the tin! Others come and go but this place will outlast them all. Nothing flash, but nothing bad either. Pleasant atmosphere and all the basics of chinese food done right.
Love this place. Unlike many places the takeaways are also cooked to the same high standard as an eat in. A real old favourite that never let’s me down
The Ruby is very popular with thief Sunday buffet which is around 8 for adults. The food is nice, it looks small from the outside but is very large inside, I’d give it a 8/10
Very popular with locals as location is within town and near other bars and theatre. Good food in a medium price band. No private parking so you may need to walk a short distance.
