Blackberry Grove is a new independent bar and eatery close to the waterfront, in the thriving seaside resort of New Brighton. We are situated within walking distance of The Light Cinema, The Floral Pavilion Theatre, Fort Perch Rock Museum, and a variety of family attractions including Bubbles World of Play, The Fairground, Award Winning Crazy Golf Adventure Course and a number of sandy beaches. We are in a fantastic location for rail users, only a few stops from Liverpool City Centre and we are very close to the motorway. Opening in October 2015, we are thrilled to be launching at what is such an exciting time in New Brighton, with people constantly referring to days gone by. At its peak in the early 1900's New Brighton was one of Britain's most popular holiday resorts and boasted the New Brighton Tower, ballroom, outdoor swimming pool, pier, bustling shops, hotels, together with countless attractions and amenities. Sadly, some no longer exist but New Brighton has now become the 'New' New Brighton with a major 60 million redevelopment program which has added the New Floral Pavilion, the Marine Point leisure complex, supermarket and a variety of restaurants - with more extensive public works planned. Blackberry Grove has a rare, unique charm and atmosphere, with people often commenting on our homely feel. We serve breakfasts and brunches from 11am and serve right through to evening meals and beyond. We have an extensive menu and are particularly popular with vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free eaters. That said, our gourmet burgers and triple cooked chips are a big favourite with our carnivores. What has pleased us the most since opening is, we can see from our clientele, that we really do have something for everyone here, catering for both the casual and the serious foodie in an unpretentious environment. Find some time, come on down. There's nothing we love more than making our customers feel at home, at ease and relaxed. Disappointing. Expected a bit more quality considering the prices. Food felt a bit high school home economics. Pretty basic with some unnecessary twists. Just serve good food at fair prices and I’ll come back. As it stands I just couldn’t recommend Blackberry Grove.
Came here with my friend for the first time, the service, food and cocktails was fantastic, ignore any bad reviews from this place and get yourself down and try the sizzling platters and the French cocktails are beautiful. Will definitely be back again
