I have often been the Derby Pool, Just of late they have changed Managers yet again, there is one young genlteman (Kieran) he has been there a long time, he is always on duty, always has a smile, is so polite, other staff too I have Never had any problems at all here, my food has always been excelent Hot and tasty, so were some of these reviews are from i would beg to differ with the writers. Please give this place a try it is very good value for money, service is good, food has always been excelent, from one very HAPPY Customer
Pat B,. We paid a visit to DERBY Pool on5/04/12 On arrival we were shown to a table and could not hear each other speak because of the noise from a faulty motor in the salad bar. After giving our order to the waitress we were kept waiting 35 minutes before it arrived .my wife had ordered stake medium and nearly broke her knife trying to cut it.MY ORDER WAS CHICKEN AND Ribs off the bone which was full of fat .MY WIFE COULD NOT FACE ANOTHER MEAL AND IT WAS STRUCK FROM THE BILL. We did frequent Derby Pool quite a lot but we think No More not only has the service deteriated but the portions and quality of the food have gone down the Pan So sorry but youve lost two more customers.

Meal wasnt very good went for bread starter with the sald the bread was still FROZEN waited nearly an hour for food drinks didnt arrive until half hr of arrival normally good nut after this vist tonight would not go again in a hurry waited that long kids go sooooooo bored was nt a pleasent evening this was in the wallasey restaurant

AMAZINGGGG. I love so close to new brighton!! i love this place!! i love the staff and i love to eat here!!! i have never ever had any bad dishes and only been treated badly one time, by a man who got fired after his second day working there!!! 🙂 i have many friends who work there and they all are friendly the best part is that its free salad!!!!!! :))) i would HIGHLY RECCOMEND you to come here for parties and just normal going-out meals!! its a really good place to go and you wont regret it!1
Tucker. WOW.. The building is pure ART DECO to sit outside looking on to a Fabulous beach with the kites flying pulling the water skiers on a sunny day you could be transported in time ,the water is fantastic over all picture perfect to look at….BUT …..to be treated with Ignorance….. by the staff is not my idea of a good place to eat..after waiting over 1 hour and 30 minutes for my starter of which we had been told it would be no more than 30 minutes.me and my family thought time to leave we had orderd 3 meals & 3 starters nothing had arrived i went to the bar to ask for a refund as we was not happy and we are leaving to be told my order had just left the kitchen and has gone outside to my seat so i go outside to ask my family what they wanted to do. but after arriving at my table the Decision was made for us as the meals had not been sent outside at all…..I went back to the bar to state the meals have not gone outside i would like a refund as we are leaving to my horror was told to SHUT UP…by a member of staff who asked me what i had orderd when i told him i am not sure as they never gave me a receipt i again was told i must no what i orderd!!!and was again spoke to as if i was unwanted customer when he was giving me the refund ..other customers at this point were also asking for a refund and where shocked at a customer being told to SHUT UP i have made a complaint and 3 weeks later still no result. THEN A EMAIL STATING THEY WILL BE IN CONTACT WITHIN 7 DAYS …LOL WE WILL SEE……so as for me or my freinds & family we will eat at other places in newbrighton that treat customers the right way with respect … of which there is many to choose from TO SUM UP: BUILDING, SEA ,SAND,VEIWS,100% (10/10 )PERFECT….STAFF,COMPANY,HARVESTER….RUBBISH,
