We serve drinks and sandwiches to take away or you can dine with us and sample our traditional high tea menu, as well as interesting plates from our delicatessen such as charcuterie tasting courses and cheese boards and weekly hot specials and salads. We serve artisan coffee made by our trained baristas with coffee roasted locally in Writtle, as well as tea grown in England on the Tregothnan Estate in Cornwall, we even serve a pink tea. I came to Cairnsworth with my mum and elderly (quite deaf) aunt. The staff made provisions for us to sit in a quiet corner so my aunt would be able to hear us. The staff were extremely attentive and the food was lovely!
Such a fab place. Really good quality homemade food & the staff are so friendly & go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Recently had afternoon tea which was superb!
Visited the delicatessen for afternoon tea earlier in the month. Food was delicious and the service was really good too with the team going that extra mile. Would recommend to anyone.
Lovely friendly staff and exceptional food with a great deli and freshly baked goods, the coal are to die for and a good selection of beverages to suit all tastes.
We have visited a few time as love the food and service, the afternoon tea is wonderful and the deli counter is lovely to then take quiches home from, the children love it too, you need to book ahead
