About
A very warm welcome awaits you at the Tally Ho, a pub that has been part of village life for around 500 years. Built as a Devon Church House, the pub has been a meeting place for friends and neighbours, as well as hosting a steady stream of visitors from far and wide, who enjoy the traditional atmosphere of the pub and surrounding village. The Tally, as the regulars call it, is South Devon's first community-owned pub, bought by a loyal band of supporters from all over the world to save this historical treasure from closure and to keep it safe for future generations. The tradition of creating a warm and friendly pub where everyone feels at home is of prime importance, as is providing a great selection of cask-ales and fine wines, as well as good food from locally-sourced ingredients. On warm summer days, the pub's garden - tended by volunteers - offers a lovely place to eat outdoors, whilst in the winter the low ceilings and warm atmosphere indoors provide a cosy place to eat and socialise. And the large free car park behind the pub means that parking is never a problem.
