Why wouldn’t you go to the local Chinese if it’s literally metres over the road from your house? The answer is: there is no reason not too. If in Clapham South and you get that oriental urge, Mayflower is the solution. Forget the other one I don’t know the name of down the road, it doesnt matter. I recommend the Hong Kong / Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken, and my housemates can’t resist the beef chow mein, but it’s hard to look past crispy shredded beef. Just don’t tell the guys at Chatkara as they’ll be devasted. londoncurryblog.com
