I was recommended this restaurant while in London and took a client here for lunch. The menu was lovely and well priced and the food delicious. We were both very happy with our meals and the service we received.
The best local, neighbourhood restaurant around. Ask for a booth at the back and nestle in. Delicious food, great wine, nice cocktails. Most of all amazing atmosphere. Definitely book as it gets very busy.

Consistently good. The heading says it all really, great little place, always busy, staff are hit and miss but all in all good for a nice bit of dinner or lunch. Came highly recommended by a manager at one my favourite restaurants (as his old stomping ground) and will be telling him it could do with him going back to train the staff a bit better. But in all a pretty good place and would most definitely go there many more times to soak up the buzz.
We have been coming to the Abingdon for well over 10 years, have found the food and atmosphere consistently good. Tonight (18/3) we were disappointed by the very long wait for our food (45 min!) and even more by the manager’s response when we complained. He clearly could not care less…
