Alejandro & Chris's passion for cooking started at a very early age, Chris Jordan was drawn to cooking by the simple pleasure of making others happy through food and started his chef career at 15 in rural Australia. He began formal training at Flying Fish Restaurant in Sydney under Executive Chef Peter Kuravita. After qualifying as a chef he continued his career at equally awarded restaurants Light Brigade Hotel & 4fourteen all awarded "Chef Hats" by the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide. He has also cooked a private dinners for well know guests including Crown Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil of Rajpipla. After moving to London in 2011 he began running events for corporate catering company Vacherin. In 2014 he decided start his own venture A Taste, hosting various themed and imaginative pop up events throughout London from Stage 3 - Hackney, Startisans - Covent Garden and Lost & Found Cocktail Bar - Balham. And was proud to host charity events for RLSB, London Without Limits & Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Alejandro Diaz's best hobby was to once a week cook for the entire family with his father in the kitchen. Age 18, Alejandro studied culinary arts in Montreal, Canada. He has been working for several award winning restaurants, five start hotels and high end catering companies around the globe. He is proud to pioneer a ground-breaking molecular gastronomy range for the event industry. Previously these delicacies have been available only in renowned high end restaurants around the world. After 19 year gastronomic journey through kitchens in many countries he has had the opportunity to cook for numerous celebrities and politicians, and was honored to have been the head chef and organiser of numerous prestigious events such as Polo cup in London for 4 consecutive years with the presence majesties Prince Albert and prince William, a private residence dinner party with the presence of Samantha Cameron and many others. Together Diaz & Jordan opened Three Little Birds in Clerkenwell, a relaxed fine dining restaurant that draws inspiration from our multicultural society using seasonal produce to excite, surprise and make diners smile.
