  Lovely place for dine in and to grab some drinks Bang on locates opposite Portsmouth portOffering great view of the portServing great delicacies When you are in Britain the first thing to do would be relish some Fish and chips This one is a tempura baby COD fillet served along with a side of mushy peas and tartare sauce and fries The fish fillet is fresh and the beer batter coating over the top made it finger licking goodThe French fried are crispy and the tartare dip paired along with is fabulous Then we tried the buttermilk chicken wings which are again fantastic Then chicken skewers topped with sesame seeds are my favouriteFood -4/5 sublime one for sure Drinks 3/5 this is for the beer Service 3/5 – staff could be more perceptive.They take good enough time at times to respond , as the place gets crowded during peak hours at lunch and dinner time.Or else few of them still go that extra mile and do their best.VFM -4/5 The place has great vibes and dishes out some great palatable foodThe view of Portsmouth port from the open space is substancialWill be back soon krantiawelltravelledgourmand.wordpress.com

  I went here with a former colleague and good friend for early dinner. This outlet is conveniently located by the train station. It is easily accessible if you commute by train and also has ample parking space if you drive. All Bar One has quite the space. It has high ceiling and uses plenty of natural light, making it appear open and more spacious. It has a small outdoor section which was perfect this time of the year. We opted to seat outside to enjoy the nice summer temperature. The ambiance was very relax with people just chilling over a glass of wine or other spirits. Service was very basic at the time. This was my first visit so I don’t know if this was due to the time we were there; we were probably too early for the full dinner service. We placed our orders and paid at the bar and food was served at our table. Each time we wanted more drinks, we had to go to the bar and order. With others doing the same and some customers staying by the bar, placing orders took time. The food was worth the visit though. I had the bbq smoked ribs while my friend got one of the burger choices. She had been here a few times so she knew what to order. She said the burger was absolutely tasty. I had food envy for a moment until I tasted the bbq ribs. It was great. The meat was not quite the fall-off-the-bone type but it was tender and easy to separate from the bone. It was juicy with that lovely smoked bbq flavour. I typically ask for extra sauce so was glad that it already came on the plate. The accompanying chips were perfect for my preference – crispy and lightly salty. It was indeed a very good meal. In terms of drinks, the place offers a wide selection. I opted for apple juice while my friend had wine. There were plenty of spirits to choose from but we were not in that mood. We had a great time catching up. All Bar One provided the perfect space and good food at a very reasonable price.
