About
Welcome to The Three Tuns, built in 1518, was originally known as The Guildhall until the building of the present Guildhall in 1689. Since then it has been an inn and is now a public house. Renowned as the birthplace of King George III's tipple of choice - purl (mulled ale and gin) - the pub is unsurprisingly popular among visitors to the town, locals and Etonians alike - it has even been known to entertain more than a few royals in its time. The Three Tuns may only be a small pub, but the food is big - enjoy excellent fresh and traditional British food every day of the week. Look forward to seeing you soon.
