Staff beyond rude. We sometimes go there to enjoy one of the nice pastries after lunch in the high street. The staff tends to be quite rude but we usually don’t mind much. Yesterday the girl serving us would put the coffee on our tables without even looking at us; I said thanks when ordering and he didn’t even bother answering. This is not the worst though: when we were having our coffees, she approached a client who was finishing his meal, with a bottle of some cleaning spray, and said: You must clean the bathroom, you left it full of shit and this is not my job. The shocked customer thought it was funny, so he went in a started cleaning under the orders of the girl, who kept moaning about how much shit there was -remember this is a coffee shop where they serve food, so most clients weren’t particularly impressed- and eventually the client got fed up and left. The girl kept moaning and saying aloud that her job was not to clean shit… I can totally understand her being really annoyed, but let’s remember, her job is actually to serve food and treat customers well, which she doesn’t do particularly well either… we left and said: thank you, bye! and of course no answer whatsoever. The other waitress was a bit better, looked exhausted though, so not sure this is a problem with them or with them being exhausted and overworked, but we thought it was a shame to have such a nice location and to completely ruin it with rude staff…
